About Me

Hello! My name is Dean Farabaugh and I teach high school mathematics and physics.  I was raised in Nicktown and attended Northern Cambria High School for grades 9 - 12.  I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with my bachelor's degree in mathematics education in the spring of 2012 and further attained my master's degree through IUP in the following years.  Through the Praxis II exam, I acquired certification to teach high school Physics.  I taught for 6 years at Bishop Carrol High School in Ebensburg, PA, and then spent 2 years at Central Cambria Middle School.  This is my third year teaching at Northern Cambria.  The courses I teach this year include Plane Geometry, Honors Geometry, Physics, Honors Trig/Precalculus, and Calculus.
